I can’t believe it’s already 9 days into the much anticipated Spring season!

Beautiful 20 degree days. Blossoming flowers. And the smell of fresh pollen wafting through the clean crisp air.

And then there’s the Hay-fever. Somebody get me my box of tissues now!

Well, winter is finally over, and I’m happy to say that I’m glad electricity bills will become less burdensome over the next couple of months.

Yes, having heaters constantly turned on is a bitch.

Even after I found out which heaters are most cost-effective.

I ended up purchasing this $29 convection heater. My room was toasty all winter :)

But with Summer lurking around the corner, the worst is yet to be expected!

I’m not talking about the 40 degree heatwaves that hit Melbourne every summer.

I mean, yes I am already dreading the day where the sun gleams so bright that I’m going to have to refuse to step outside just to avoid contracting a sunstroke or skin cancer.

Like I said, that’s not the worst of it.

In Australia, the heat drags along with it a plague more deadly than you could imagine.

A plague even the late Moses would be afraid to call upon.

I’m talking about a never-ending infestation of flies.

Fly count: 22. There were heaps more flies around my study table and the kitchen!

Just last weekend, I swear I had at least 30 of them buzzing around my entire bedroom.

Oh, I am dreading this already…

Ridsect, please be my new best friend.
